Rebuilding Liberty Part 7: Finding Your Divine Purpose in Restoring the Republic
Lance Wallnau delivers a powerful message on destiny and divine calling that will transform how you view your role in America's restoration. Drawing from his decades of teaching on cultural influence, Wallnau introduces the concept of "convergence" – the science of fulfilling your God-given purpose – and explains why your attraction to rebuilding liberty is no coincidence but evidence of a calling.
The magnetic pull you feel toward constitutional principles and cultural restoration? That's divine orchestration. Your unique background, family history, and even life's contradictions? All part of God's sovereign preparation for this moment. Wallnau masterfully unpacks the five stages of destiny fulfillment and explains why only 20% of believers ever reach the convergence phase where they step into their divine blueprint.
What sets this teaching apart is Wallnau's unflinching challenge to the comfort-seeking mentality that has silenced truth-tellers. "Truth shouldn't make you comfortable—it should make you change," he declares, confronting the cultural conditioning that has taught conservatives to censor themselves rather than risk appearing judgmental. This refreshing directness explains why younger generations are increasingly drawn to authentic voices who deliver unvarnished truth.
Perhaps most compelling is Wallnau's urgent call to action: "There's no one coming—it's you." This powerful reality check dismantles the comforting fiction that someone more qualified will eventually arise to save the republic. For those wrestling with potential professional consequences for speaking out, his reframing of "HR" as "Heaven's Resources" provides a spiritual framework for trusting God's provision when standing for truth costs something.
As America approaches its 250th anniversary, discover how your personal story converges with this pivotal historical moment, and why the contradictions you've faced might be the very preparation you need to help restore America's founding principles. This isn't just about politics—it's about fulfilling the purpose God had in mind for you before you were born.
Rick Green [00:00:07] Welcome to the intersection of faith and culture. This is the WallBuilder show where we take on the hot topics of the day from a biblical, historical and constitutional perspective. Got some special programming continuing today. Rebuilding Liberty is a brand new course that WallBuilders and Patriot Academy and American family and all these folks are putting out there for people to study between now and July 4th, 2026. And we're partnering with everyone. I'm talking turning point faith Moms for Liberty, Liberty Pastors, I Voter Guide, you name it. All of these different groups to promote Rebuilding Liberty. So that on July 4th, 2026, that we're waving the flag celebrating 250 years, but we understand why that flag is worthy of being waved. What a tremendous, tremendous opportunity. So today is the beginning of the final episode of Rebuilding Liberty. If you missed yesterday, if you missed last week, all available at Wallbuilders.show, or if you want to just go through the whole course with the videos, then go to PatriotAcademy.com and get signed up today to do that. But today, here's what we're gonna do. We're gonna jump into that final week, week four of Rebuilding Liberty, and then we'll have to air again tomorrow to get the conclusion. Let's jump into Rebuilding liberty week four here on the WallBuilder Show. The purpose of this course is to make sure that they know why that flag is worthy of being waved.
Tim Barton [00:01:29] Wherever you are watching from, we're not rebuilding a structure without giving the right foundation.
Speaker [00:01:35] And our burden should be to transform a moment into a movement. The entire globe is moving towards the right.
David Barton [00:01:49] Recommend this edition of the Bible to the inhabitants of the United States. I thought our founding fathers were much atheists, agnostics, and deists who wanted a secular public square who didn't want the Bible in schools.
Speaker [00:01:58] Fight like it's your last breath.
Speaker [00:02:01] But know this, the truth is over the facts that God's not giving us fear to fear but a power love and a sound mind. What do I want my legacy to be on the way out?
Speaker [00:02:10] That I was safe, or that I was dangerous. No, this nation is not perfect. I'll take America for any other country or nation on the face of this planet how about you?
Rick Green [00:02:27] Welcome back, week four of Rebuilding Liberty and our master bricklayer tonight. My friend Lance Wallnau is in the house. Now listen, this guy has been teaching on how to rebuild the walls and be an influence in the seven mountains. You may have heard that before. This is the guy that mastered that teaching. And I'll tell you the truth, I actually had his cassette tapes in my truck like 30 years ago. Don't tell him that I mentioned that. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Lance Wallnau. Thank you.
Lance Wallnau [00:02:54] Thank you, Rick. Thank you. Thank you on my way. Actually, after I got here, I got a text from Rick saying, I probably should have told you that you're going to be talking in week four following the declaration, religious founding, the rebuilding of walls with the right principles. This week is all about action and inspiration, how to take real action and restore the Republic. So I got that. This afternoon, about an hour or two before I came up here, so I'm gonna do that by suggesting there's a couple of patterns you can learn. Patterns actually are the secret to increasing your IQ on anything. If you know patterns in the market, you look for certain trends, and those trends make you millions of dollars. You know patterns and consulting. And then I start thinking about it. That your IQ spiritually really goes up when you recognize biblical patterns. So if you know the pattern, for instance, that every time God gives you a dream or a vision, it frequently follows that there's a divine contradiction or a contradiction that comes against the vision. And then you have to survive the contradiction to see the super, so Abraham's going to be the father of many nations and his wife can't conceive. I mean, that's what we're talking about. He's got to go through the, and the Bible talks about the contradiction. But outside the contradiction, there is a supernatural fulfillment of the promise. So once you start getting these patterns, there's hundreds of them in the Bible. The focus I want to go with now is the thing that Rick asked me to talk about. It's a word called convergence. So what is convergence? I don't know if you know this, but... People gravitate! Towards things because there's something in them that corresponds to the thing they are doing. When I go to Washington and I'm in the think tanks, there's a certain kind of person that's attracted to that event. They're thinkers, they're not emoters, you can barely read what's going on because they're internal processors, that's what we call it, and they're profound thinkers. Now if I go a rock concert, I'm going to run into a certain people there that are attracted to it. What I'm trying to What I'm saying to you is this. If you're watching this on a video, if you're watchin' it online, if you are attending this training, it's because something in you is drawn to this. It's a pattern you need to recognize. Certain kinds of people are attracted to certain kind of things. I had to drive like five hours to get here from Dallas. Has to be something unique here that would make me make the pilgrimage all the way to Fredericksburg so I could stand here and see what's goin' on. Same thing with you. So therefore, I would suggest to you. That you consider that the attraction to being here is an evidence of a calling.
Rick Green [00:05:45] Quick break everybody, stay with us, you're listening to The WallBuilders Show.
Rick Green [00:06:55] Welcome back to The WallBuilders Show, jumping right back in with Rebuilding Liberty.
Lance Wallnau [00:06:59] I'm verifying what you ought to know already is that God called you to something regarding government or you wouldn't have a passion and interest of proclivity or the ability to even be here. And your destiny is going to be connected to some missing piece that this experience is going give you, probably clarity, maybe connections, something like that. So let's talk about what destiny is. CONVERGENCE! Is my favorite word because it really is the scholastic definition of the process called destiny. After you get born again, I think you'll agree with me, if you're a Christian, the most important thing you could possibly settle for life is where you spend eternity. There's no other subject. I mean, forget it. What does it profit a man if he saves the republic and loses his own soul? Jesus could have taught that. But once you're saved, once you've born again once you have peace with God. That's not the end of your assignment. Matter of fact, the Bible teaches that all of us will stand before the judgment seat of Christ and we give an account. We give an accounts for what? For what we've done. And here's the mystery. God actually has a purpose and a plan for what He wants you to do and what you wanna make sure is you succeed in doing the thing He called you to, rather than succeeding in a thing He never called you do. Does that make sense? You're here, I'll make the proposition. Because part of your destiny at the judgment seat of Christ to fulfill a mandate regarding the restoration of civic virtue or righteousness or the shaping of nations. You're called to do something that is a little different than the person who is focused on healing or evangelism or something. You're call to engage your gifts, talents, and abilities to shape the culture around you so that it can become more righteous and sustainable So that God can continue in the nation and not be locked out of the country. Does that make sense? You're doing that. Your children probably partake in that same calling. So here's what convergence is. Convergence is a science that explains the sequence of destiny, where most preaching about destiny is rather abstract, and there's nothing wrong with it. There are biblical models of Joseph, or Daniel, or Esther, and we read the stories in the Bible. There's a guy named Robert Clinton who went to Fuller Theological Seminary and began studying the phases and stages of convergence or destiny fulfillment with Christians. I'm gonna tie it into you guys being in this program. It starts with this, five stages of destiny. And the ultimate stage we're looking for is this thing called convergence. What is convergence? Convergence is a phase. Which only 20% of Christians, he's observed, ever reach. It's the phase where you step into the blueprint of what God created you to do before you were born. That means God has prepared works for you to do before were born that you might walk in them and you start to step into to the script. Jesus walked in the script that was prepared before he was born. When it comes time for him to ride upon a cult into the city of Jerusalem, when he gets there, there's a cult to be untied at a tavern. And Jesus effortlessly walked through the fulfillment, even to the point where the Romans, who were doing him no favor in crucifying him, delivered those nails with such precision that not a bone of his was broken. How could that be possible? God, the sovereign God, oversees these things. Convergence. Is when you're walking in harmony with the purpose that God had in mind before you were born so that in the volume of the book that is written of you, you're fulfilling the things that God intended. Isn't that cool? So the characteristic of convergence that you wanna look for if you're looking for fingerprints, the gingerbread crumbs or the pattern, the question you wanna ask is, have you had any unusual coincidences? But a divine appointment means that God set something up. How'd you find out about this? Who introduced this to you? What was your first exposure to Rick Green or to David Barton or to Walbos or to any of this? God set you up on the calendar and God set up for this moment. Convergence has fingerprints and the fingerprints look like unusual coincidences that lead you to the point of convergence but you have to recognize the first stage as sovereign beginnings. God puts you in a certain country. You didn't choose it. God puts in a gender. He puts you a ethnicity. Asian, Caucasian, whatever. And you can see how sinister and how malicious Satan is when he gets you to question the very sovereign beginning that's the fundamental for your own destiny. If the devil can get you to question your beginning, you're off the convergence track. Your time in history. Oh, I wish I could have been born back there when Jesus was walking the earth. Oh, wish I had been there when the found. No, you don't. Five minute, one day there and I promise you, the plumbing alone would drive you back to the 21st century. Your time in history, your gender, your race, your family of origin. This is strange, too. You may say, I had nutty parents. Well, it's all part of the strange alchemy of God's divine design. No parents. They died young. Well, welcome to the life of Esther. Welcome to the Life of Moses. I got all kinds of Bible characters if you want to talk about why God does that. All I can say is, he factored it in. Then it took a lot of time for spiritual formation. I'll bet you a lot of you have a Christian experience here. I mean, after a while, we'll just wear you out. You're gonna have to go with us. It'd just be so annoying to be around a bunch of us talking Bible all the time. So that even narrows the path further. I've noticed it in convertors, God even uses the occupation of your father in some way to shape you. Your family of origin, the occupation in the house had an influence in shaping you. Here's the point. Spiritual formation comes when you got born again. You met Jesus. You got baptized. You went deeper. You went in the word of God. You went back slain, then he came back again. You got sanctified. You had some relational issues. God pulled you out of that pit, got you back in. Spiritual formation is all part of the uniqueness of the convergence code.
Rick Green [00:13:32] Another break, everybody. Stay with us. You're listening to the WallBuilder show as we air Rebuilding Liberty. Week number four.
Rick Green [00:14:46] Welcome back to the WallBuilder show, thanks for staying with us, let's jump right back in to Rebuilding Liberty.
Lance Wallnau [00:14:50] How the heck are you gonna fulfill a divine destiny if you don't have any spiritual formation? Make sense? This is a strange thing. It's a gift, development, and dependency of GDD. That means you start doing certain things that work really well, so you realize, like my friend John here probably realized he's not meant to be in the choir, although I don't know, but he would be good with comedy. He's probably good at talking. So some people are gifted at one thing, they're not gifted at another. Maybe you're cognitive, maybe you're good at analyzing and thinking and counting things. Other people are good at communicating and articulating. Some people are great planners. Other people who are great, spontaneously. It's all part, oh, and how we find out convergence also has to do with gifts and talents that God put into you in your sovereign beginnings. And you start to discover the gifts and talents that he gave you when you have gift discovery, you find I'm good at talking, I'm going to selling, I'm gonna leading, I've got a managing, I'm go to observing, I got a supporting, I'm got a backing people up, I go to empathizing and feeling what other people are feeling. I can read the room better than most people, I'm surprised. Those gifts, talents, and acquired skills go through a certain mobilization. Then we come into this other phase, which is kind of just called life maturing. Life maturing is interesting, because a lot of preachers, a lot of ministries, I'm going to build a church. I'm gonna preach it. But their spiritual formation hasn't been through the crucible of life maturing. They got the right principles. They haven't had to deal with the death of a vision. They haven to deal a wayward son who's rebellious. They haven had to with a boss in the ministry who's like Saul throwing javelins at them. And so, life maturing is when God, when you think you're ready to fulfill your destiny, and God puts you in a situation where you have contradictions and adversarial situations, and the finances are lousy, or your wife can't get pregnant, or she's miserable and hates the ministry, or whatever it is. Life maturing, the beautiful thing is, everyone who's ever gone through convergence and gotten to that point, dealt with a contradiction at some point in the life-maturing phase. So many people quit. I could never be pulled. I decided to allow an affair. I screwed up. I'm not even in ministry anymore. I gave up on it. God can't even use me. Ba-bam-bap! Devil's Beats on Up. Life maturing. Thank God, Peter got on his feet, David got on his feet. Even Samson got on his feet and fulfilled what they were called to do. But what I'm trying to tell you is, convergence happens 20% of the time, and then after that comes legacy. What does that have to do with you? Well, it has to do with you in a sense. Individuals go through this, but when you heard about those signers of that document that you've, ah, up there. There's such a thing as generational convergence. Oh boy, now we're getting into some really interesting code here. That means that when it's time for the children of Israel to cross over and go to the promised land. Two of them had gone through the phases of five phases, four phases, they're ready now for converters, they go into the promised land, they see the Giants, something in their personal experience says, it's a contradiction, not a disqualification, we can do this thing. The other ten said, there's no way in the world I'm going to go in there with these people. I don't even know why I left where I was. This is crazy. 10 generationally missed the rendezvous with destiny. Two made it. That's why this is so important. Those men did not do this on their own. They kept meeting and meeting and meaning until they finally, in front of each other, committed each other to their highest and noblest point. They had generational convergence, a rare thing. The children of Israel missed their convergence, but what does God do in the pattern of life? If you miss the call of God, he doesn't change the call. He just brings it back. It's kind of like the DFW airport. If I miss the gate, do you know what I do? I go in this loop. I go all the way around, I'm right back again. It's like, how is this like my life? The Lord says, that's your gate. You gotta get off on that ramp. You can go, how many? It's called going around the wilderness until you're ready to cross over. Anybody know what am talking about? It's a pattern. God says, why don't you just deal with this thing? Why don't just deal, after a while you realize this is what God wants you to do. But the fact of the matter is, the older you are, the more you have to prioritize what you focus your energy on because you're at the tail end of the convergence process. And that means from 50 to like 75 or 80, you have focus on fewer things that are more and more important. You gotta allow God to weed out the things that are less important so you do the more important, and look at this, you're here now. Because God's putting a governmental call on you to affect the nation. Evidently, this is important. Does that make sense? When it comes time to speak truth. You do it unapologetically and you take whatever comes. We used to be that. We've lost it. I'm talking about people here in this room who are patriots, who are Christ followers for the most part, who aren't conservatives for the most part. You forgot that they leveraged the virtues of Christianity against you by telling you that you're not allowed to judge people. Self-righteous arrogant judgment, no you are not. Trying to assess what is moral and true? That's your obligation. My point is this, you've just learned again how quickly you censor your own desires and feelings for the sake of making people comfortable. No wonder we're losing our country. Truth shouldn't make you comfortable. It should make you change.
Rick Green [00:20:48] Our final break for today, folks, stay with us, you're listening to The WallBuilders Show.
Lance Wallnau [00:22:06] The truth over the facts is something I've had to learn to live by because people talk about their truth and they pervert it and there's only one truth. What is real and what is right based on the Bible. But younger people, here's the truth, there's no one coming. It's you. There's not a time in history that's like, oh, I'll just wait till someone else. It's that critical, it's you. You who feels insecure, you who goes, I don't have a big following, you who says I make a post and nobody likes it, that's okay, who cares? You gotta do what God has called you to do.
Speaker [00:22:53] I'm making a point about what happens when you are faced, come face to face with a moment where you have to stand for something. And it might be uncomfortable, and it may make somebody feel bad, it might make somebody upset, it might try to make somebody try to end you, it might somebody who won't try to take away your rights, it might someone decide that you're gonna be canceled, and it make somebody decide that they are going to take full control over your life and your autonomy because they don't like what you believe and that's the moment you'll discover if you're an American or not.
Speaker [00:23:27] See, many of us don't see the evil in the world and the cultural collapse and the catastrophe that is around us. But that is our moral charge. What is that X factor that makes you wake up every morning? The food we eat on the mountaintop only grows in the valley, nothing grows on the mountain top. And if we're in that valley now wanting that mountaintop experience, here is where we need to awaken ourselves, take our plowshares and say, no longer are we going to even seed one inch of land back. We are going to leave a legacy that is solid for all of humanity to say, these people preserved it. When I speak in corporate settings, I never forget the fact that God has first called me to His feet and His service. People say, do you worry about HR? I know many of you work for a living. Those of you watching in the quiet confines of your home going through this course are saying to yourself, but I know what David Barton said about the fact that the law has been overturned and I can actually participate, but I can't do it because of HR. Folks, HR should stand in your mind for heaven's resources. Otherwise, don't participate. Because there are three things I know. One, there is a God, two, it ain't me, and three, it aint HR either. If we do this, we'll be on the right side of history and we can stand in front of God who ordained this nation to stand in the first place like the great Ronald Reagan said, the shining city on the hill.
Speaker [00:24:52] A lot of times people ask us, we get this question a lot, how do you reach the next generation? Well, I would just say, well, tell them how it is. Like you're saying, they don't want to hear this walking on eggshells version of the truth.
Rick Green [00:25:05] Plastic like fakes, you know
Speaker [00:25:07] Right. They've been lied to long enough. They know it. We know it and so things like social media and other platforms, I would say academics, have had a facade and we know it, and so at this point I would, say, part of reaching the next generation is to stop trying to make it too complicated, right? God has given you that manual book. He's also given you a life story to know the real hard things and so share that with them. They're hungry. They want to know.
Speaker [00:25:37] What I see in my generation is a hunger, a desire, to not only be involved and know truth, but to know why they believe that truth, because I think our generation is truly, the veil is just being torn, and they are realizing the ignorance that a certain kind of corrupt system wants them to live in. And we're not about that. If there's anything my generation does not want, it's that they don't want to be controlled, right? They don't the foot of oppressive tyranny on their neck. And we are finally just saying, okay, there's gotta be a better way than what we're seeing. And so we start looking for those pockets of society that are actually speaking truth and teaching truth. And then we just wanna attach ourselves to that and be a part of it.
Speaker [00:26:20] Yeah, I would totally agree with that. Actually, I think a way to put it would be that our generation knows they've been robbed and our generation is hungry and they are truth seekers.
Rick Green [00:26:32] Okay everybody, we're out of time for today. Tomorrow we'll get the conclusion, not only the conclusion of week four of Rebuilding Liberty, but the conclusion the entire course. So make sure you tune in tomorrow. Thanks so much for listening to The WallBuilders Show.
